Healthy Youth in All Aspects

We had the privilege of being part of an inspiring Erasmus+ project led by Generaciones Saludables España. This project, held from August 4th to 10th, united partners from Belgium, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Spain, and Turkey to promote healthy living among young people across Europe.

We are excited to share how this project has positively impacted participants and the broader community, helping pave the way for a healthier and more connected future.

As part of this initiative, young people were educated about the importance of physical activity, proper nutrition, and mental well-being. Activities like Footprints in Nature, which involved walking exercises, and Healthy Grocery Shopping empowered participants to make better lifestyle choices. These activities resonated deeply, inspiring them to spread these habits to their friends, families, and local communities.

Mental health was a central focus of the project. Through interactive sessions like Drama in Raising Mental Health Awareness and mindfulness workshops, participants gained valuable tools to manage stress and maintain emotional balance. Many Romanian participants expressed how these activities helped them feel more confident in navigating the challenges of everyday life.

The Erasmus+ project provided an incredible platform for cross-cultural collaboration. Young people from Romania and other countries shared their stories, traditions, and experiences while working together to promote a common goal: healthy living. This cultural exchange not only broadened horizons but also fostered a sense of unity and mutual understanding among participants.

We are immensely proud of our participants who embraced the lessons of this project and began incorporating healthier habits into their lives. The knowledge and connections gained will undoubtedly have a lasting effect, benefiting not only individuals but also their communities.
